As a sales representative, you have the opportunity to see your customers on a regular basis and build strong relationships. Your customers count on you to help them choose from a wide range of products to meet their operational needs and support them with product application advice and on-site training as well as manage their products and inventory so they always have the items they need on hand. As a sales rep, you’ll spend your day cold calling and opening new customers as well as servicing existing customers.
From schools and hospitals to golf courses and government accounts, the types of places you will visit varies each day.
Some of our most successful reps had no previous sales or industry experience but share the traits of being hard working, persistent and self motivated.
